French cottages in Brittany
In the middle of this beautiful Brittany, you have the opportunity to rent four newly (2007/2008) restored French cottages in three old granite boulder houses in an old farm, which dates back to the 17th century. The name of this place is Villeneuve de Runellou and is situated at 200 meters altitude in a very peaceful agricultural area. Close to the French cottages are wild forests. The nearest town – Plouray - is a ten minutes drive from the French cottages, and a 40 kilometers drive south will bring you to the coastal city Lorient. The capital of the region – Rennes – is about 100 kilometers drive away, and the nearest airport you’ll find in Dinard 125 kilometers north of Villeneuve de Runellou. To sum up; a very good point of departure to experience the special culture and its many sights.
Together with a little chapel the French cottages surround a very cosy yard, in the middle of this lies a nostalgic old well. Along with the houses exist south west ward terraces with garden furnitures. The small chapel compliments the calm, relaxed atmosphere. The french cottages each have their charm and peculiarity. They are at rent individually or in combination - according to your wishes. The place is especially suitable for a bigger family vacation or a group travelling. All in all exist 14 beds (4 of them in couches).
